Another excellent season with stunning snow, brilliant sunshine
and blue skies
to see an interactive map of the pistes (Les
Gets / Morzine).

- Les Gets is on the snow-line, so we get
the same snow as other resorts at 2000m and the piste is all pasture
which means that you only need 8" of snow to ski, rather than
the two foot required for the higher resorts which have rocky
terrain to cover.

- We asked Mark Dean, an Englishman and 'long-time'
Les Gets skier, to sum up the skiing here in the Portes
du Soleil:
"I've been skiing
for 20 years and the last 8 have been in Les Gets. It's a brilliant
area for mixed abilities since you can go to the top of many
runs, and all end up at the same place at the bottom. I also
find the off-piste skiing very extensive and under-used. It's
not tracked out by 9.30 am on the first morning after a snowfall.
Mont Chery has got one of the best 'bump slopes' (mogul runs)
and the 'Bouquetin' run on Mont Chery North is as steep and
challenging as the wall in Switzerland."
