What you can expect from a stay at Ferme de Montagne?
Seamless. One word most of our guests have come to associate with the skiing experience here at Ferme de Montagne. On your arrival one of our team will unpack your ski equipment for you and store it in your personal ski locker within our heated boot room. If you have not brought equipment with you, we will escort you to our local ski shop, just around the corner where you will receive preferential treatment, rates and equipment.
With a ski lift on our doorstep you can watch the early birds getting the first lift whilst you enjoy one of our hot breakfast specials, a cool glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a steaming espresso. During breakfast your ski guide will chat to you about your day and lunch preferences so that before you’ve even finished your eggs Benedict your day will already have been planned.
When you are ready to depart your skis will already be waiting at the lift for you. The days skiing is tailored to your ability and the weather conditions and your lunch stop will be at one of the areas excellent restaurants, with a table reserved especially for you.
After lunch on the mountain and a few more runs many guests choose to return for afternoon tea back on the terrace at Ferme de Montagne, every day freshly baked cakes, scones, jam, cream and cookies for the children.
There’s no need to worry about your skis, our team will carefully pack them away into your locker and make sure your boots are positioned perfectly above our boot heaters so they’re nice and toasty for the next day.
A lingering bath with our home made bath sea salts or an invigorating shower revitalises the body and mind ready for a gourmet dinner; but is it brasserie, a la carte or degustation tonight?
Pre dinner drinks, sampling one of our daily cocktail specials, at the antique Parisian bar upstairs chatting to other guests, comparing ski stories and anecdotes whilst perusing tonight’s menu,
After dinner, retiring to the library for a glass of Cognac by the fireplace before bed, a timely call after another wonderful n day in paradise.
